Elim Chew's 50 Birthday Cake

We recently had the honour of making Elim Chew's 50th birthday cake! This cake was designed by her friend Angela and her team who wanted to incorporate her love of family, fishing and finally the launch of her biography, The Elim Chew Story: Driven by Purpose, Destined for Change into the design. 

The cake featured handcut and individually painted fondant sea life elements. We love how this cake came to life from the cake sketch and we are really happy to hear Elim thought the cake looked great!

Great White Shark Cake

This cake was one of the highlights of our week! The great white shark, sea life elements and sign were all made from fondant. The client requested for the shark to dive from the water and we love how this idea turned out. Read more to see a full shot of the cake!

Pool party themed Powerpuff girls cake

We are absolutely in love with this pool party themed Powerpuff girls cake! Measuring about 15" in height, this double barrel cake was massive! All the details, including Siena's name, the Powerpuff girls and Professor X were handcut from fondant!

My Little Pony (Rarity) Cake

This beauty was based on a similar design we did for another 21st birthday a few months back and we absolutely love how the purple ombre buttercream matches Rarity's mane. Pink and Purple Carousel Cake

Not only gorgeous, this bespoke carousel themed cake was 2 tiers of pure deliciousness! The top tier was a 6" vanilla cake and the bottom 8" tier was our signature chocolate cake. 

The silver pearl dredges were individually placed onto the bottom tier and all fondant elements, including the horses and poles on the top tier were cut out by hand. If you're interested to learn how we made the candy stripe poles, we have a super easy tutorial for you below!
