We made a SANDCASTLE CAKE!
Complete with mini slippers, buckets, seashells and windmills!
How we made it
First, we crumb coated the 2 Red Velvet cakes with vanilla butter cream.
The bottom and top tiers were 8" and 6" inch respectively.
Next, we covered the cakes with Mcvitie's Digestive biscuit crumbs.
To get fine sand, we recommend using a food processor.
For the design on the top tier, we used Loacker Quadratini Chocolate Wafers covered in buttercream and biscuit crumbs.
To finish up the cake, we added the little fondant details (seashells, bucket, slippers, rocks), windmills
and the "21" banner at the top.
And Ryan Gosling approves. Hell yea.
